Women of Color Network (WOCN)

Our mission is to develop and create engaging opportunities for networking, professional development, mentorship, and community engagement with a specific focus on resources, empowerment, and community support. The University of Mississippi embraces its public flagship mission of inspiring and educating our diverse and vibrant community where all individuals are able to intellectually, socially, and culturally thrive through transformative experiences on our campus and beyond.

We welcome any person(s) that identify as a woman and have an association with the University of Mississippi and or the LOU Barksdale community at large. However, the Women of Color Network does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, disability, veteran status, or genetic information. Together, we are far more influential than we could ever be apart.

**The Women of Color Network at the University of Mississippi is housed under the Division of Diversity and Community Engagement.
